Jamaica Inn

The gift shop has a weird feeling over where they have the t-shirts etc, this is also where books fall off the shelves, we didn’t get anything obvious there but we had 2 cameras & 3 audios pretty much covering it all.

The birthday candles speak for themselves! No one has managed to debunk it yet, me & Karin noticed it at the time and gave each other a little look but it’s good to see if from different angles and to be able to replay it and watch what everyone was doing, I can’t explain it, you know the layout and although it has changed in format slightly there are still no drafts, breezes or doors to open or shut causing pressure differences. We may be able to go back in 2017 for a proper serious investigation (this was still an event) so it would be good to replay it. Even my mum can’t think of anything and she’s about as sceptical as they come!

Now to the stables… I can’t wait to review everything in there! (Adam says I have to carry on reviewing in order, rubbish) We started the evening with everyone in there in a circle, I had just finished faffing with setting up various bits & bobs and joined the circle and he hit me… I went so hot, so quickly. I had a film of sweat covering me from head to toe, I tried ignoring it thinking it would ease but it got worse and worse, I could feel myself starting to sway and black out, I had to leave, typical that I had put myself in the far corner from the exit and had to push my way out past people and chairs, still fighting the need to pass out or throw up, whichever came first. It was horrible, I have never been effected by anything like that before and have never had to leave an area but as I left through the little corridor (to the stairs to the rooms) I could feel it easing, it wasn’t until I opened the door to outside that I realised how much I was sweating. If you remember something similar happened to Colin & Kirsty (the witches) last year, they were leaving just as we caught the EVP. I feel he definitely remembered me.

Adam got rushed by him twice, the first time was as we were leaving the same corridor, he was the last one through the door and felt someone run up behind him. The second time it was him and one of the male guests, coming through from the museum into the stable (where the museum entry/desk is) he both felt and saw a tall black figure with a strong male presence rush up to him, he stepped back causing the guest to confirm that he’d just seen the same thing. I don’t know if we had video running at that time, I really hope someone did!

We went back in, 5 of us in total. I’d kept quiet until then, didn’t want to cause any discomfort to the guests, and didn’t feel comfortable swearing in front of some of them either. We had taps and some of the others had feelings, I’m looking forward to hearing the audio from that, I carried on challenging him, “If you’ve got something to say, say it to my face” kind of lines. He is not to be underestimated, Adam has a strong respect for him. I’m wary, not scared, but feel that he has more power than what he has shown so far.

So next time we go I’m going to leave audio running in there and hopefully we’ll have a spare night vision camera by then too so we’ll keep them rolling the whole time.
